Bradley Destache started out in the boating industry in 1992 by attending Mariners License Prep school in Point Loma, California. From there he worked as a deck hand on local sport fishing boats gaining experience and sea time. By the end of one season he was sought after by John and Pat Rains yacht delivery company as crew on World wide relocation projects. His first delivery was an East coast to West coast delivery of an 80 foot Hatteras motor yacht. The next learning experience came from being permanent crew on a 58 foot sport fisher traveling to Catalina Island every weekend during the summer months and managing the vessel in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico during the winter.
Management and maintenance became a viable interest for Bradley and lead him to obtain factory certifications with a number of manufacturers. An interest developed in outfitting, refitting and commissioning both power and sail boats a focus of his as he worked for a San Diego based company in the Shelter Island boat yard developing skills hard to find in the classic technical school environment. Opening his own business in 2008 the skill level only increased with the systems installed, managed and upgraded. Projects included navigation equipment, plumbing, electrical, hull, and of course mechanical.
